The SolarEdge inverter efficiently converts DC power from the modules into AC power that can be fed into the main AC service of the site and from there to the grid. The inverter also receives the monitoring data from each power optimizer and transmits it to a central server (the SolarEdge monitoring portal; requires Internet connection).
How do I connect my SolarEdge inverter?
Connect the master to the SolarEdge monitoring portal via the LAN or GSM modem communication option. All inverters are configured by default as slaves. If reconfiguration is required: Turn ON the AC/DC Safety Switch. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is OFF. Turn ON the AC to the inverter by turning ON the circuit breaker on the main distribution panel.
