The City of Cape Town Fleet Management Department's electric vehicle pilot project has demonstrated a business case for the procurement of electric passenger vehicles for municipal fleets. The City of Cape Town has partnered with global electric vehicle leader Volvo to deploy the electric buses as part of its Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS).
